How to Multiply Engagement through Emails



Cold Emails, promotional emails and newsletters are notorious for their place in the trash folder. Yet their undeniable importance keeps them coming. There are quite a few factors contributing to their open rate to reply rate to click-through rate. The variables include but are not limited to how effectively you use the Subject Line, the length of your email, how do you say 'thank you', and most importantly, the content.

Content includes the subject matter of your email and how you deliver that subject matter. Good content is the backbone of all emails. The trick is to make it engaging, accessible and easy to grasp. Your choice of words certainly plays a key role in making your readers interested in and following through your Call to Action or CTA. However, your audience need a quicker and easier way to know what you want them to know.

Visuals do the trick. Pictures and infographics make your emails more appealing. But if you are looking for a singular, solid way of making them hit on the CTA button or link, it is video. Videos dramatically increase email marketing performance, and yield three times more engagement than other emails. Make sure you include the word 'video' in Subject line, and embed your multi-sensory lead bomb (AKA video) in a prominent place so it gets noticed and played. Then sit back and see the magic happen.
