Top 5 Ways to Keep Your Audience Engaged, Informed and Interested (Part 2)

Landing Page

Landing Page is the page you want your prospective customers to land on when they find you in an ad, social media or organic search. Many websites have their About Us page as their landing page. Others use the home page for this purpose. These pages usually offer little or too much information. Little because the information is not focused on one product or service. Too much because it is about every product or service they're offering. It is a big turn off for customers who only have time enough to read about their problem and its solution which is either missing from the page, or hidden in the clutter.

A more focused approach towards educating and informing your customers is to have separate landing pages for all your major products or services. Sell only one or a maximum of two related products or services on one landing page. Zoom in on the biggest merits of that product or service. Make sure to keep your copy compact, or the effort of fishing for useful information will frustrate your visitors and force them to leave. Also, putting more than one offer on a landing page can overwhelm your visitors. So keep only one appealing offer, and a contact form to turn your visitor into lead.
